Audra & John
As a Portsmouth NH Wedding Photographer, I am always excited to meet clients from out of state! I first met Audra at Fazenda Coffee Roasters in Jamaica Plain to discuss different pricing options for her wedding on May 20, 2016 at Monponsett Inn in Halifax, MA. She was so excited to tell me details about the venue and her dress. Most of all, her eyes lit up with joy as she started describing her fiancé John. John could not join us initially when we met up because he was away in bootcamp in Georgia. She described John as everything a boyfriend/ partner should be – caring, kind, forgiving, respectful, and encouraging. She told me he proposed to her in the backyard of his parent’s beach house. She was completely surprised but managed to throw her arms around him and tell him “Yes!”
As she was describing the location of her proposal, she suggested that we could take engagement photos there. I was all for the idea! His parents house in Plymouth is the perfect location. We had amazing green trees surrounding the property and attached was a small lake which we could take boats out on. Down the street from the home, was White Horse Beach. I don’t know what other place could offer a forest engagement scene, a lake engagement scene, a boating engagement scene, and a beach engagement scene. At the end – we were even able to light a small fire to make some epic prism engagement photos!
