Kaijsa & David – Wequassett Resort Cape Cod Wedding
I was so thrilled to be asked to second shoot for Kaijsa and David’s gorgeous wedding at Wequassett Resort in Halifax Massachusetts! This wedding was a wedding photographers DREAM. The Resort it’s self is absolutely stunning – views of the ocean everywhere you looked. The grounds were stunning with beautiful patios, fire pits, and lush gardens. As it was November, we had to move the ceremony inside due to the cold weather, but it was still stunning none the less. The aisle was lined with white rose petals and flowers decorated the ceremony space. Kaijsa & David have two beautiful children who were the flower girl and ring bearer for the ceremony. After they said their “I Do’s”, they were filled with complete joy as they walked down the aisle officially as husband and wife. We then went back inside to get warm before continuing formal photos. We were lucky enough to catch the last of the sunset which made for some fantasticly epic photos 🙂 We finished up the formal photos early which meant Kaijsa & David got to enjoy some of their cocktail hour and sip on their featured drink which was a Pear Martini – YUM. The entire bridal party used props from the photo booth which made for an awesome entrance to their reception. As they started their first dance, they invited their children to join them on the dance floor which was unbelievably sweet – soon most of the guests joined the couple to start the night dancing to the band that was hired. For dinner they chose to serve their guest filet minion and lobster tail cooked to perfection by the resorts award winning chefs! A viking hat and sword props were brought back out as Kaijsa & David went to cut their cake. Before the night was over, we made sure to ask Kaijsa & David to come outside for a few more photos since the patio was lit up.
Kaijsa & David – thank you so much for having us be a part of your day! We hope you love the photos as much as we loved capturing them!
