Aldworth Manor Wedding // C+L
I met Laura at a bridal show this year and we immediately bonded over a love of tacos, her gorgeous estate wedding venue located in the mountains, and the love of the color black. I remember reading her wedding questionnaire in the coming weeks before her and Craigs’ big day and just getting so excited – I mean how often is it that black is the main color of anyone’s wedding?! And how often is it done in a gorgeous and classy way (not often)! Not only that, I had been dying to shoot a wedding at Aldworth Manor for sometime now. This beautiful venue located just outside of Keene is absolutely stunning – from the gorgeous architecture, to the hidden tea houses, to the breath taking mountain views, and lush gardens surrounding the estate it is a wedding photographers dream.
I loved all the old color choices of pinks, yellows, greens, and oranges Laura used throughout the day. Her wedding bouquet was filled with multicolored summer blooms and accented her dress perfectly. Speaking of her dress, Laura GORGEOUS mermaid dress with horsehair tulle train made everyone one of her guests’ mouth drop in awe. She and Craig truly made their vision for this wedding come to life by hand painting the black bars which were old pieces of furniture that Laura decided to repurpose for her wedding. I was also a HUGE fan that Craig decided to wear a forest green suit. Just another testament of how they truly thought of every detail and how to tie it all together.
