Fort Foster Beach, Maine Engagement Session
I absolutely love photographing at Fort Foster Beach in Kittery Maine! It is on a cove in Maine and one of the only places where the sun actually sets behind the water in New England!
I remember looking at the weather forecasted and calling Jonelle asking if she wanted to reschedule and she said “Nope! I trust you!” And I am so hoary we went through with the session! When we arrived it was lightly raining but Jonelle and Ed were willing to take a few photos! So I set up my flash and got to work!
Then as thew rain stopped, we explored Fort Foster’s trails and eventually made our way out to the rocks where we saw hundreds of sail boats and a super dark sky which made for some dramatic images! And then just as the sun appeared a rainbow fell in front of the dark sky and I think I might have screamed from excitement over the images we were about to create! A few minutes after that, the sun appeared and we were able to take golden glowy photos!
This location never disappoints!
