Ashworth By The Sea Wedding at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire
Carrie & Diego’s wedding was a mix of beach meets Mexican fiesta meets Star Wars (in honor of their May 4th wedding date) meets extreme dance party and as different as all those themes are, they all came together to blend into the perfect day.
I am not sure how many people can say that a Zumba class changed their life but Diego is absolutely one of them! Diego had just moved to New Hampshire, and decided to try Zumba classes so he went to sign up for a class. That Saturday morning he met the woman who would grow to become the love of his life and he became a regular in her Zumba classes.
He was inspired by Carrie that he wanted to become an instructor. So Carrie started mentoring him which lead them to practicing together, which led to coffee, to then a date at the beach. Hampton Beach to be exact. Diego proposed to Carrie 2 years later to the date he walked into that first Saturday morning class. He pretended that he wanted to record a song choreographed to “Casate Conmigo” which means “Marry Me” to share on Youtube. And once that note in the song hit, he got down on one knee in class and Carrie enthusiastically said yes!
The Ashworth by the Sea right in downtown Hampton Beach New Hampshire was the perfect venue for their event and provided a beautiful ocean back drop for Carrie & Diego’s first look. That same beach where 2 years prior they shared their first kiss – I told you it all tied together! Below are my favorite images from their wedding!
