Jake and Rachel met while working together as teachers in Franklin Middle School. Jake is a music teacher at the school and Rachel was swept off her feet by his kindness (and savvy guitar playing skills). Fast forward a few years later Jake took Rachel to dinner at Hart’s then headed to their special spot at Town Docks and made sure my whole family was there when he got down on one knee and asked to spend forever with her.

Rachel and Jake chose to have their wedding at the Grandview Ballroom at the Oaks in Somersworth New Hampshire this past summer. The venue is absolutely stunning both inside and outside with their beautifully landscape golf course grounds. Rachel’s Dad is a master wood worker and made the center pieces, their guest book, and their cupcake tower!
