When I first spoke with Jill about her wedding we Facetimed and talked about logistics, her vision, and then quickly that evolved into a conversation about our love for Home Goods to which she then proceeded to show me around her beautiful decorated home.
Jill & Chris chose to get married in November at Dell Lea Weddings and events in Chichester NH – which is a gorgeous New Hampshire rustic venue surrounded by rolling hills and mountains. Unfortunately on Jill & Chris’s wedding day it was pouring with rain and the ceremony had to be held inside. However when the sky cleared for a few minutes after the ceremony – the entire bridal party sacrificed their shoes and we took some photos around the property. I was even able to create some false sunlight for a few of Jill & Chris’s portraits 😉 This was she was not missing out on the sunny, warm fall day she had envisioned for months.
I absolutely loved Jill’s long sleeve sweetheart dress – and so did her Dad since everyone was in tears when Jill decided to have a first look with her Dad to show him the dress. Also check out Jill’s popcorn bar which was super delicious and an awesome snack to take advtange of when her guests needed a break from dropping it low on the dance floor!
Jill & Chris – thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding and for going out in the rain! PS I am still waiting to have a Homegoods and wine date with you <3
