I was so excited when Jammie reached out to me to photographer her and Harry’s wedding celebration! Her and Harry had modeled for me in the past for a shoot and to have them think of me for their own wedding meant the world to me!
Their wedding was held in Harry’s parents back yard in New Hampshire on a sunny September day and I don’t think it could have been more perfect! We started the day by taking getting ready photos of Jammie and her bridesmaids. Jammie and Harry did not want to do a first look so instead they exchanged letters to each other. Even thought they chose not to do a first look – we were able to get done bridesmaids, groomsmen, and portraits of both Jammie & Harry before their ceremony.
They planned their ceremony just before sunset and before they chose their ceremony location they considered the position of the sun so it would be behind them giving them the best light for their ceremony. Harry might win for best reaction to seeing his wife walking down the aisle! I almost cried at him getting so emotional! After they exchanged vows, they chose to do a shot of tequila to make it official! I then saw it was the perfect lighting for a smoke bomb photo and we created some of my favorite wedding portraits from 2022!
I really loved that all their guests took out their phones and put their flash lights on during their first dance – it made for some super unique photos! After that, the band started playing and the dance floor was packed! Before heading out, we stepped away from the party to take some pictures with the full moon!
Jammie & Harry – I am so grateful you hired me for your wedding! Harry as a photographer yourself the fact you chose me is such an honor! So grateful for you both and for being down for all my photo ideas!
