I am finally getting around to editing some of the weddings I have assisted photographing with other photographers! This was a downtown Boston wedding at The Stateroom that I second shot for the incredible and talented – Zev Fisher Photography!
When I photograph for other photographers and when I personally have second photographers at my own weddings, we are photographing different angles and focal lengths – so you might not see a lot of traditional photographs here but a lot more photos with editorial vibes or me trying to get a different angle to Zev to enhance his clients – Jeremy & Amanda’s wedding album.
While Zev was photographing the girls getting ready, I was capturing the groomsmen prep and headed back down to Amanda’s bridal suite once it was time to photograph her getting into her gorgeous ball gown! Zev decided to do Amanda & Jeremy’s first look in the hotel before we wandered around downtown Boston for their portraits. While he captured a more traditional angle – I was able to use the room’s mirrors to capture a few unique portraits of that special moment.
We then walked around downtown Boston to capture more portraits of Amanda & Jeremy and eventually made our way to Post Office Square to capture family and wedding party photos.
When I first walked into the Stateroom my jaw dropped – the views, the decor, the atmosphere – are just next level! You can see Boston from a perspective most people dont get to and the water view is just a bonus! I loved all the greenery, candles, and purple, blush, & white roses used in their reception decor!
I cannot wait until a couple of my own hires me to photograph here! I am obsessed and have so many portrait ideas that I wasn’t able to execute on this day!
